# Setting Up Wi-Fi Connection
1. **Power On the Device**
Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds until the welcome logo appears on the display. After a few moments, the Wi-Fi signal icon will be visible.
2. **Connect to the Network**
Look for the network (SSID) labeled “Moxee HotspotXX_2.4G” or “Moxee HotspotXX_5G,” where XX represents the last two digits of the device IMEI.
3. **Enter the Password**
Click “Connect” and enter the default password found on your device. You can find your Wi-Fi SSID and password information on the device’s “Wi-Fi Info” screen or on the SSID label located underneath the battery cover.
**Note:** This device will periodically search for software updates, which may result in a small amount of data usage.
# Setting Up WPS
If your terminal supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), you can connect without manually entering the password. Follow these steps to set up WPS:
1. **Enable WPS in the WebUI**
Navigate to Settings > Wireless > WLAN Settings > WPS to enable WPS.
2. **Activate WPS on the Device**
Press the Menu Button on the device until the “WPS Active” page appears on the display.
3. **Activate the WPS Function**
Press the Power Button to activate the WPS function.
4. **Connect Your Terminal**
Enable the WPS function on your terminal to connect to the hotspot.
Moxee Hotspot Troubleshooting
# Step 1: Restart Your Hotspot
- Turn the hotspot off.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Turn it back on.
- Reconnect your phone or computer to the Wi-Fi.
# Step 2: Check the Signal
- Look at the signal bars on the hotspot’s screen.
- If the signal is weak, move closer to a window or step outside for better coverage.
# Step 3: Log in to the Hotspot Settings Portal
- Press the power/menu button on the hotspot until you see 'Device Info.'
- Look for 'IP Address' — this is the number you’ll type into your browser.
- **Username:** admin
- **Password:** Found on the sticker underneath the battery
- Ensure your device is connected to the hotspot’s Wi-Fi.
- Open a web browser and type: `http://192.168.0.1` (or try `http://192.168.1.1`).
- If neither of those work, check the device’s screen menu:
- Enter the login details:

- Check your data usage to confirm your service is active.
- See signal strength directly from the network.
- View connected devices (and disconnect if needed).
- Change your Wi-Fi name and password.
- Refresh the connection if the hotspot is not getting service — this often fixes issues.
# Step 4: Test the Connection
- Try opening a website. If it works, you’re all set!
- If not, contact AFNET support with your Hotspot IMEI and SIM ICCID (found under the battery or on the SIM card).
